何以農曆的第一個月叫“正月”?
為甚麼農曆的第一個月不叫一月而叫“正月” ? 在中國古代，每年以哪一個月當第一個月，有時是隨著朝代的更換而變化的。在漢朝以前，每換一個朝代，就往往把月份的次序改一次。據說，夏朝的夏曆把元月作爲正月；商朝的殷曆以夏曆的十二月爲正月；周朝的周曆以夏曆的十一月爲正月。秦始皇統一天下以後，又以夏曆的十月爲端月，即十月初一爲一年之始。這就是史書中通常所說的“夏朝建寅，商朝建醜，周朝建子，秦朝建亥”。直到漢朝的漢武帝，才又恢復夏朝的月份排列法，一直沿用到現在。 這幾代王朝更改了月份的次序，便把更改後的第一個月叫做“正月”。“正”就是改正的意思。在他們看來，既然他們當了皇帝，居了正位，一年十二個月的次序，也得跟著他們“正”過來。 既然“正”是改正的意思，那麽正月的“正”字，就應該讀作“改正”的“正”字音，爲什麽人們卻把它讀作“征”字音？傳說因秦始皇姓贏名政，他嫌“正”字的讀音同他的名字同音，說是犯了忌諱，就下令把“正月”讀作“正(征)月”，就一直沿用到現在。 Share on Facebook
