Switching back to use eBook Library software to manage my Sony 505 and ebooks; Calibre is just too unstable for regular use. I will continue to use it to manage ebook’s meta tags and format conversion but will not use it to manage library anymore.
Calibre has a lot of nice functions which make it superior compare to Sony native software. I especially like its ability to tag and rate each book. The series option is also great in manging manga. But it is just too buggy and too unreliable for regular use. Yes Sony software is bad but at least it fail in predictable ways.So far Calibre problems include:
- Missing books
- Corrupting 505 memory
- Random crashed
- Regression bugs.
